Yabber: A Musical Junk Tale
Premiering in June 2023
in Communities Throughout Calgary

A celebrity, an orphan, a crone, and a cowboy collide to bring you a cautionary folk tale that will leave you snapping your fingers and tapping your toes. Old junk transforms into masks, puppets and instruments in a tale that shows us how love and sacrifice could save our planet.

This free outdoor performance will be premiering June 9 - 18th and will follow a YYC Free Market in outdoor venues throughout Calgary including ContainR Park, Bowness Community Association and Shane Homes YMCA. Bring the whole family; there's something for everyone!

What's a YYC Free Market you ask?
A YYC Free Market is essentially a garage sale where everything is free! The community is invited to bring not only things they want to get rid of, but they may also share their talents. We've seen haircuts, tarot card readings, personalized poems and more... Find out how to register by clicking on the links beneath each venue below!
